Galatea Piscinas — Custom Pool Builders in Reus. Galatea Piscinas is a company specializing in the design and construction of custom swimming pools, based in Reus. Since 2004, we have been shaping water features in Reus and throughout the Baix Camp region. With over twenty years of experience and more than 200 pools built, our expertise is undeniable. We have a deep understanding of the local lifestyle and construction practices: Reus combines a dense urban environment, with smaller patios and spaces in the city center, with a large area of villas and single-family homes in the suburbs, where there is ample room for a large in-ground pool. Therefore, we work on both compact pools, designed to make the most of every square meter of an urban patio, and large custom-built pools for suburban properties. There is also a very local factor that we always consider: the water in Reus is hard and calcareous, which affects water purification and maintenance. We anticipate this from the design stage, carefully sizing the filtration system and recommending, when appropriate, salt chlorination systems to achieve softer water, with fewer chemicals and better long-term equipment maintenance. What we build: Custom-made, gunite concrete pools with complete design freedom. Fiberglass pools, quick to install and low-maintenance. Polyester and prefabricated pools, efficient and durable. Overflow and infinity pools with a premium finish. Mini and plunge pools, ideal for patios and small spaces in the center of Reus. All our services: Construction of new, custom-made pools. Renovation and rehabilitation of existing pools: liner replacement, modernization of the filtration system, new coping, or complete shell renovation. Comprehensive year-round maintenance, with special attention to the area's water hardness. Heat pump heating to extend the swimming season. Automatic covers for safety and thermal efficiency. Extras and upgrades: LED lighting, salt chlorination, and steps or gently sloping beach areas. We handle every project from start to finish with our own team—from site survey and 3D design to excavation, rebar, shotcrete, waterproofing, custom-sized filtration system, linings, coping, and commissioning—with on-site management and a structural guarantee for the pool shell. How we work: The technical visit is free and without obligation: we come to your garden or patio in Reus, measure it, assess the land and access, and advise you on-site. Afterward, you receive a detailed, fixed-price quote, with each item broken down, including VAT, plans, and deadlines. What you see is what you pay, with no surprises or fine print. And if you need it, we offer tailored financing. Based in Reus, we are close by before, during, and after construction. At Galatea Piscinas, we combine traditional craftsmanship with modern design and technology to build pools that last.that you'll enjoy and that will increase your home's value.
